The trip starts with a flight from Grande Prairie to Calgary on the evening of the 13th. Valentines Day 2017 is going to be a day for the books, and it is going to be a LONG one. The schedule now is a 13:20 departure from Calgary, arriving in Vancouver at 13:50. We have only a 1.5 hour layover prior to boarding our next flight to Tokyo Japan! Scheduled arrival in Tokyo is 18:30 – the next evening – there we have a 14 hour layover! All times are of course, local. No plans for Tokyo but as there are sleeping pods at the airport, it might be an interesting option to get some shut eye. The next morning we board our plane at 08:55, and arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam at 13:10 to start our adventure through 3 countries – in 17 days, with 5 extra days in Bangkok, Thailand. As usual the time table is dependant on the various airlines ability to keep their schedules. That’s not too much for ask for, is it? Getting where we need to, on time, with our luggage will be amazing! Wish us luck…
